So today we experimented with different card stock. Here is a sample sheet with some of the more impressive effects with the Bleach. As you can see the Basic Black isn't as noticeable as I thought it would have been, but it would make an awesome background.
Here is the card that I showed in the video using the Blushing Bride and the Prized Peony Stamp Set. I will include the supply list below.
I thought it would be good to see a close up of what the bleach did.

Creative Inking Blog Hop - Summer Fun Whale Done
Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop. This month's theme is Summer Fun. I had a hard time deciding what to do for this theme. I decided to bring up something from the past. Every Summer we used to go to Vancouver and go the the Aquatic Aquarium in Stanley Park. I used to love going through it and being amazed at all the Aquatic Life. Especially the Whales and the Turtles. This card is a reflection of those memories.
I decided to make a card using the Whale Tale Bundle and the amazing Designer Series Paper. I wanted to make a Shaker card and decided to use the Snow Globes. It definitely made the Shaker Card very easy to do. I also wanted to keep the piece that I cut out, to sit behind the globe. I like the way it turned out. Here is the card. I will give the supply list below.
And here is the one that I did in the Video
It really reminds me of the aquarium that I used to go to. You can see the shaker sequins below.
Measurements for this card are:

I decided to combine the Ornate Garden DSP and Embossing Folder with the stamps set from Tasteful Touches. I find it amazing how you can combine so many different stamp sets and product in our new Annual Catalog.
Have you seen the results from running DSP through with an Embossing Folder and then Sanding it? Check it out in this card. I will provide a supply list below.
Our Designer Series Paper is white cored, and when it is sanded, it gives a different look. I hope you can see that effect in this close up.
Here are the measurements that I used:

I just love doing my Stampin With Diane Card Sketches on my Facebook Group every Saturday. It is awesome the number of ladies that participate and the beautiful cards that they make. I have been doing this every Saturday since the Pandemic Started. It not only has inspired me to make cards but it has inspired so many to make cards. One lady has said that she has made over 300 cards since March. Wow. I also say make a Card, Send a Card.
It really does change someone's life, by sending a card.

Originally, I wasn't going to get the participants to do it as a Gate Fold Card, but they liked the Stepped Up version so that is the card they did. Here is my card. I will give a supply list below.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop - Forever Fern
Welcome to the Blogging Friends Blog Hop. This is my first time that I have joined this Hop. It is still in the initiation stages. As the months progress we will have more join. As always the theme is - Thank you. Now, more than ever is the time to thank people for the little things that they do that means so much.
I used one of my favourite stamp sets, Free As a Bird, along with some new elements from the Peony Garden Suite. The Old meets the New. I will include a supply List below for this card.
Can you see the New Elements? I just love the Elegant Faceted gems. Did you see what else I did with the Square Vellum Doilies . I used the Doily as a stencil, and then used that same doily in the card.

Here are the measurements that I used to make this card. Note i added another layer to the card in the video.
Petal Pink: 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”, 4 “ x 5 ¼”
Pool party: 3 1/8” x 4 ¼”
Water Colour Paper: 2 ½” x 4”, scraps
I also used a Blender Pen to Colour with Ink pads. I think the video really shows the whole process best.
